Job Overview:
As a Financial Auditor within our audit services firm, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing financial data to uncover discrepancies, policy violations, and strategic opportunities. This role requires advanced analysis and reporting skills along with a sophisticated understanding of audit processes, finance, and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will grow to become a subject matter expert, actively participating in webinars and supporting sales meetings with key insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Review and Analysis: Conduct thorough examinations of client spend data to identify trends, policy violations, sourcing opportunities, and instances of off-contract spend.
Reporting and Insights: Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that convey complex data in an understandable format, providing actionable insights to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Subject Matter Expertise: Evolve into a subject matter expert who will lead webinars, contribute to workshops, and support sales teams during client interactions.
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary analytical contact for clients, delivering presentations on findings and engaging in discussions to address questions and provide solutions.
Communication: Exhibit advanced verbal and written communication skills capable of effectively articulating data insights and complex concepts to a varied audience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: A degree in Audit, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in financial analysis/auditing/data analytics/procurement with a strong analytical skill set and the ability to interpret large datasets.
Technical Proficiency: We use our own in-house software for data investigation and analysis, which you will be taught. Excel proficiency is a plus.
Professional Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer relationships and present complex information at various forums, including webinars and sales meetings.
